Laura Reyes is a Mexican American illustrator based in the Chicago-land area. Through her art, she strives to weave narratives that resonate with viewers and forge a connection. She aims to showcase her cultural heritage in her work. She enjoys illustrating for picture books, comics, and is open to mural work as well. She works in both traditional and digital mediums. She has a BFA in Art Studio and Illustration from Northern Illinois University and is proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Clip Studio Paint, and Procreate. When she's not working, Laura can be found drinking a cup of coffee and chilling with her dog.
